You're right, I hadn't even thought about those things falling over! I was just
in shock to see them in there not to mention their size! I know some of the
staff on board weren't too thrilled to see them in the lounge either so
hopefully its something that will be fixed for next year. I think most here
would agree that 4th of July is something that has a lot of potential on the
ship with the right planning, and as I've said, some elements were done well
this year. The main thing is how to market the ship to give it the best Queen
Mary treatment possible.
On another note, it was really cool to see all the boats in the harbour around
the ship on the 4th. Almost reminded me of a photo of the small craft escorting
the QM into Long Beach in 1967.
