Queer Students and Allies for Equality is an organization on the Cal Poly Pomona Campus.
Historically our group has been active for more than 25 years. Our name has changed a couple times and we were formerly known as GALA (Gay and Lesbian Alliance), then CAP (Collegiate Alliance of Pride). We actively discuss and take stands on issues concerning the LGBT community. This is a group for students and by students at Cal Poly. Along with our activism, we have social gatherings such as our Annual Beach Bash at Huntington Beach, and group trips to the various Pride events in Southern California. As a group, we are committed to create a safe and comfortable environment, not only for our LGBT members but for our allies as well.
Please join us for our weekly meetings at the Pride Center on Tuesdays from Noon to One during the school year.
