punk77 is the first and best mailing list about 1970s punk music.
punk77 is a moderated list, always on-topic, and spam-free.
Lance Jonn Romanoff founded the list in November 1997. Both Lance and Paul Moshay currently serve as list moderators.
To illustrate types of posts that will not make it to the group:
- One or two line "I agree" posts
- Posts concerning Your Current Band, Web Page, Radio Show
- Posts suggesting an opinion poll
- Posts which are wholly attempts at humor or rhetorical witticism
- Posts devoid of basic informational or editorial quality
