Welcome to the Pulp Empire, presented by WeiEmpire.com!
Welcome to the home of Pulp Stories Monthly,, an online periodical that you can subscribe to free right here on this site. Stories will slowly become archived here as the next issue becomes available. Any pulp style story could be found here. We've already featured sixteenth century mysterious vagabond adventurer Zechariah Long, a serial featuring WWII-era adventurer Seth Blake in Codename:Action, and the first chapter in the saga of the masked hero Mister Haunt. Current stories include Aaron Howard’s western saga Oscar, the subterranean war epic Lost Army, and the first serial featuring private detective Samantha Heller. Future stories may feature the likes of jungle lords, star spanning space heroes, or even good old-fashioned hard-boiled romance.
I REALLY don’t want to be writing this magazine by myself. I do have a life after all (or so my wife keeps telling me). Therefore, I’m making an open call for submissions! I cannot pay you a dime, but you can have your story live on in history as a great piece of modern pulp in our archives. You’ll retain all ownership rights to your piece, but I reserve the right to keep it unedited in the list archives. It'll be up to you if the story will go up on this page or not. Any genre is acceptable, just keep it in that pulp aspects of the story. Think characters like Tarzan, Conan, John Carter, the Shadow, or Doc Savage for adventure stories, the writings of H.P. Lovecraft for horror stories, or the likes of Raymond Chandler and the film noir detective movies for mystery. I’ll even take a good romance story if it has a hard-boiled edge to it. Any well-written script will almost certainly be published. Send manuscripts in e-mail form (please, no attachments) to pulpsubmit@metahumanpress.com
