Description

This bulletin board is for forest owners in the Puget Sound region to connect with one another to share equipment, logging or contractor costs, and other information. The objective is to bring down the cost of practicing forestry and land stewardship for the small forest owner through cooperation or collaboration.

Are you considering a logging job, brush control, reforestation, or other operation on your land? Post here with a description of your project, time frame, and contact information. Maybe there are others nearby that share your needs. Working collaboratively with other neighboring owners to hire a single contractor or consultant can improve economies of scale. With larger acreage, you are also more likely to attract a high-quality operator.

Please feel free to post on this board if:
--you are considering a forestry project (logging, thinning, planting, brush control, etc.) and are seeking other landowners to increase the size
of the project.

--you are a forestry consultant/contractor who would like to expand the size of your exising project in a given geographic area to make it more cost effective.

This group is moderated by the Washington State University King County Extension Forestry Program. IMPORTANT NOTE: To control Spam, all submitted messages must be approved by the list moderator. So, you may not see your message posted immediately.
