Police Service Area 3 (PSA3) in central Oakland, is bounded by Lake Merritt on the west, 23rd Avenue on the east, the Estuary on the south, and the Piedmont city limit on the north, and includes Adams Point.

The PSA3 Yahoo Group has been established to facilitate communication between the PSA3 residents and the Oakland Police Department (OPD), City Council Members, the Mayor, and other city staff in order to solve problems and address public safety issues.

To get involved with your neighbors in improving your community, attend the next Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) meeting in your beat, and join the Yahoo group for your NCPC. There is a Problem Solving Officer (PSO) assigned to each beat who also attends the monthly NCPC meeting for that beat.
