Welcome! The Charlotte Chapter of Project Linus makes blankets for children who need a 'handmade hug.' We are an all-volunteer organization of people who knit, crochet, and quilt who enjoy our crafts and each other while we help children in our community.
We meet monthly to work on blankets, and to get to know one another. Our meetings are informal and fun. Meetings are on the second Tuesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. We meet at the Candlewyck Baptist Church, 7200 Providence Road, Charlotte.
Blankets must be handmade from new materials. Fleece, knitted, crocheted, and quilted blankets are welcome. Please note that all blankets must be machine washable.
We give the blankets to local hospitals, children's homes, emergency units, and other agencies helping children.
