The purpose is to share ideas on teaching and testing to and at the highest level of English proficiency, that is, C2 on the Common European Framework or Level 4 as used by US government agencies. The project is affiliated with the Coalition of Distinguished Language Centers. The project director is Dr. Michael D. Morrissey of the Institute for British/American Studies, University of Kassel, Germany.
