This group is FULLY MODERATED, meaning that each and every post is reviewed by the moderator prior to being released to the group. In this sense, we are like the editorial page of a newspaper, plus a certain percentage of unique, selective news articles. Because a news article is important doesn't necessarily mean it is appropriate for this group. People belong to numerous e-mail lists anyway, so if an item can be read on 150 other lists doesn't mean it should also be released to this group.
