Description

Proa File International is a public world-wide forum for the discussion all aspects of proas and outrigger sailing canoes, including design, sailing, building, racing, cruising, and history.

To avoid spammers, the group now has a restricted membership policy. To help us discriminate between spammers and yourself, when you request to join the group please write something specific that makes it clear to the moderators that you are not a "spambot," and that you are aware of the subject of this group! Also, some info in your Yahoo member profile is helpful - so please fill it out. Thanks!

By all means feel free to "lurk" (read without posting), but it has become customary for new subscribers to post a short summary of their interests, experiences and hopes shortly after joining. Please avoid sending attachments of any kind. You are encouraged to use the "Files" and "Photos" sections to share files with the group (and to use the Proa_file 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 groups - our file storage annexes).
