We at Preserving Food are folks who love our dehydrators. If you've been bitten by the food drying bug you'll understand... We discuss all types of Food Preservation methods, including dehydrating, foodsavering, freezing, pickling and home canning. Any topics related to food preservation, preparedness or storage is welcomed.

Some of our discussions include drying and smoking beef, poultry, game, fruits, craft items, making leathers, jerky and candying fruit, drying vegetables and herbs. Ask questions about a dehydrator, drying items, canning items, storing in the cellar or preserving with a Foodsaver which is one of our favorite storage tool.
