Description
A group dedicated to the use, maintenance, repair, and knowldge of Prentiss vises and the company that made them. The Prentiss Vise company started in the early 1880s (formerly the Hall Manufacturing Company), and was in business until at least the 1940s. The earliest patent for a Prentiss vise was taken out in March 17, 1868. If you have any information about this company, or if you own a Prentiss vise and want to share maintenance and repair tips, feel free to join this group.
