Description

This group is for Christians who are interested in lay monasticism. We are a forum group belonging to the Prayer Foundation (www.prayerfoundation.org) and reflect its beliefs. We take the Bible to be the supreme authority for faith and life. The purpose of The Prayer Foundation™ is to encourage and motivate Christians to pray and to lift up Jesus Christ, for He has said that when we do this, He will draw all men unto Himself. We want to be a group that prays for and encourages one another to follow Christ. We respect and learn from other Christians of past centuries and this one how we can grow closer to Him and serve Him better.

Re: Monks and Diet
Your right and it was Proverbs 16;18 and as always I am truly humbled.  Thanks for the correction.  Linda ________________________________ From: Denise Owen
