You are utterly correct. I had not read through the rules carefully so I wasn't aware of the no swapping rule. You are also correct that I posted to the list because I wanted to see activity other than auto-sent txt.
What I don't understand is your bitchy attitude.
As the moderator of this branch of Freecycle, now that I know of the no-swap rule I can make an informed decision that the no swap rule is nesmyl and I encourage any and all to ignore it. Swapping means that two items that would be junked get new homes other than the landfill.
When you say "our main rule", do you mean that the Freecycle (TM) concept is yours? If so, and I'm on your turf,
I'll simply delete the group and walk away. Someone who can manage to not be utterly out of line can pick up the (used) baton.

Swaps, for that matter, is the "barter for it rather than buy". I'm aware that the Freecycle Prague group is somewhat quiet, that is, inactive (this is the first post in three months which is not about Freecycle rules), but this should only leave you more time to make yourself acquainted with the rules which are quite simple.
