Freecycle(TM) Network is open to all all individuals who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! One constraint: everything exchanged must be free and legal. WE HAVE A DROP OFF Point in POWHATAN if you don't want to wait for a TAKER let us know and we will be happy to take your item for later distribution.

Started by a recycling group in Tucson in mid-March 2003, Freecycle groups are starting up all over North America. A simple email list serv allows you to find new homes for items you no longer need, as well as find items you are looking for for FREE.

So jump in! Remember keep it FREE and appropriate for all ages. Please use the following Subject Line tags when posting:

Use "OFFER" to start your subject line if you've got something to give
Use "WANTED" if you're looking for an item
Use "TAKEN" if someone has picked up your item
Use "ADMIN" to contact the list moderator

When you see an object of interest, contact the Offerer by e-mail to find out specifics and arrange pick-up or delivery. Afterwards, please place a "TAKEN" notice so that people know that the item is no longer available.
