Anyone that has paid a DAR to inspect a powered parachute or any type
of ultralight aircraft should contact us as soon as possible via
Email. If you had to pay a DAR because the faa said they didn't have
the manpower or time to do your inspection before the deadline in Jan.
you should send me your contact info and the amount that you had to pay
the DAR for his/her services. Also state in your reply that you wish
to participate in our class action lawsuit please include the correct
contact information so we may contact you if the need arises and also
for the purposes of keeping you informed on the progress. Your contact
info needs to include at least a valid email address, full name, state
of residence and amount paid to DAR. Thanks Allen

      I am a former PPC pilot/ASC instructor/builder/dealer and FAA A&P. I have
owned an Airframes Unlimited PPC since March of 2003. I have not been active in
the sport for several years and did not have my plane N numbered before the Jan
08 deadline so it is now no longer legal to fly in US. I have $8000 invested and
now cant use the aircraft. It is in excellent condition, I have always ran the
engine but did not fly. If anyone is interested in the airplane for parts, etc.
I am taking offers.

2 seat Airframes Unlimited Powered Parachute. Electric start 75hp Rotax 618UL
engine (60hrs tt aprox).
Engine is water cooled with oil injection, Dual CHT/EGT & RPM gauges, 64" 5
bladed Warp Drive Propeller with "C" gearbox. 520sq ft Flight Concepts parachute
in like new condition. 7 gallon fuel tank. 2 high back seats with 4 point seat
belts. Frame is all steel construction.
Chute bag and line socks.
Aircraft located in Middle Tennessee.

Open invitation air event at Cottonwood Airport (1C8) Rockford IL
June 27th 2009 7am until 3 pm

The local Experimental Aircraft Association, EAA chapter 22 will be hosting an
open invitation air event at Cottonwood Airport. This is a simple cross-country
flying event, the pilots compete against the clock flying a set course and
returning to the airport.
This event is being called a Regional Aircraft Course Event or the "Cottonwood
Cup"

We expect to see Ultra light type aircraft, Powered Parachute, Weight Shift
Control, Airplanes, Gyro and Helicopters.

This event is planned for the pilot community and not being promoted as a drive
in public event.


This is a very friendly Ultra light/LSA airport and would like you to attend.

The Powered Parachute course is about 10 miles and extents north west of the
airport.

Come early our chapter is making you breakfast, stay and watch the others
compete we are firing up the grill for lunch.
