The PostAdoptionAfrica group is here to celebrate our African children and encourage their spirits to heal and blossom with the love of their new families. On this board we will provide support and guidance for each other during our post adoption journey.

We as a group will try to focus on attachment, adjustment, educational needs, societal influences, or almost anything else that our children and families deal with after the adoption. This should be a safe haven for parents to find connections with others and share the joys and the obstacles that they face in building a family through adoption

For now we will only allow post adoption families on the group. This may change in the future. There are many other groups that discuss agency choices, dossiers and travel preparation.

Lets keep the group friendly and helpful. We will have parents from all over the world. Please be sensitive to the differences in beliefs and opinions among the families. Diversity is wonderful.
