This is a private group, for the benefit of members of the Humanists of Greater Portland (HGP). The Files section (left) contains our newsletters. The Calendar here more fully describe events intended for members only (whether or not those events are officially tied to the HGP). The Messages section contains much of the incoming member-targeted email we get at "info@portlandhumanists.org". This often includes very interesting newsletters from other humanist chapters. The Files and Photos sections to the left are likely to be updated periodically, such as with photos of HGP events and newsletters that are too large for the messages section. Polls may also occasionally be held, under that link to the left.

The amount of message traffic here is likely to be fairly small -- on the order of a dozen per week -- so members should be "safe" in having the messages forwarded to their email.
