This is an email discussion list primarily for Portland, Oregon, area at-home dads. Our members are mostly dads who are actively involved with raising their children, some part-time, some full-time. Granddads, male nannies, and others who might find these resources beneficial are also welcome to join. Members are invited to use this list to facilitate playgroups, outings, dads nights out, family gatherings, and so forth.

On this group, members can access a calendar of events, a page of links that may be of interest to dads and all of our archived email group messages.

Please note that our members prefer to keep topics close to At-Home Dad or general parenting issues. Try to avoid postings that make assumptions regarding members' political or religious affiliations, and of course, while you are subscribed to this list, please post civilly. We want this group to be as inclusive as possible.

Our email list does not accept solicitations and/or fund raising postings for other organizations or individuals, even if that individual is a member of the group. Indecent and/or inflammatory postings are not allowed. Postings and/or inquiries targeting race, class, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, or disability are strictly prohibited. List moderators reserve the right to delete messages that violate group policy or are deemed inappropriate. The moderators also reserve the right to deny or revoke membership to group applicants as they see fit.
