Description

A place where we can discuss our experiences and understanding of Jesus and Christian theology coming from a postmodern perspective. The group is aimed at people who have come through a phase of evangelical or fundamentalist beliefs, but are now re-examining their faith, and exploring some of the alternatives that are out there. If you are a reader of authors like Marcus Borg, John Shelby Spong, John Dominic Crossan, Hans Kung, or others on the "liberal" side - Or if you like writers like Brian McClaren, Leonard Sweet, Stan Grenz or other evangelicals who embrace postmodernism to some degree, then this is a group you may enjoy. In any case, all are welcome, though not all may feel comfortable! We seek to remain cheerful and respectful at all times, so please don't come in looking to stir up arguments. We wish you all the best, even if you don't agree with our stand on the issues!
