Pomona needs you at the June 4th Pomona City Council meeting to let
the city know how you feel about the destruction of 3 downtown blocks
for the Watt-Genton project. The Historic Commission did not approve
the request for demolition and the developer will appeal that decision
at that council meeting. The buildings up for demolition begin at
Yesteryear's and end at 455 W. 2nd. Our hope is to save the exterior
of the buildings, thereby saving the historic atmosphere of the
downtown without stopping the project. We need to show the council how
many of us care about the preservation of historic Pomona. Without
your visible support the council will feel no urgency to deny this
appeal. Be there!
