The Political Science Association (PSA) is a non-partisan organization devoted to encouraging civic engagement among college students and the community. The purpose of this site is to keep PSA members up to date and informed about events on campus and in the community. All members are welcome and encouraged to post messages.

The purpose of the Political Science Association shall be to promote educational quality and civic leadership in the area of Political Science and the Social Sciences.


Whether you are a student, professor, politician, member of an organization, or just a concerned citizen, the Political Science Association at California State University, Fresno has something that can benefit you.

For Students we are a link to many organizations that can benefit your educational experience at Fresno State and beyond. Organizations such as the Political Science Association (PSA) can prepare you with insight that will help you with getting into graduate school, getting an internship, or getting a job.

For professors our events are a great opportunity to present to your students as an assignment. Not only are they informative and educational but your students will appreciate the break from the rigors of lecture.

We network with several politicians at the local and state level as a communication tool to bring all different political perspectives onto the campus to better inform our students.

Citizens other than university students benefit from our events since they are often informative and aimed at educating the general community about current events and political issues.
