Polish Global Village (PGV) is a free e-mail announcement list, promoting Poland-related events in the Washington metropolitan area and beyond.
The list focuses on local Polish or Poland-related concerts, theater plays, movie presentations, cabaret productions, parties, receptions, picnics, trips, etc.
Information comes from list owner Marcin Zmudzki and local leaders or event organizers who post messages directly to the list.
PGV speaks mostly about Poles and friends of Poland in the Washington metropolitan area, but occasionally touches on issues of importance to the global Polish community.
Everything is done in our spare time pro bono, so think twice before you complain about PGV, but all constructive feedback is welcome.
PGV is not an organ of any particular Polish organization or institution.
PGV's editorial policy is influenced by the awareness that Washington plays a unique role for Poland and Poles everywhere.
