This group is just one of the many community responses to the interrupted plans of Crystal Judson. As she was divorcing her husband she said that she intended to return to college so that she could help other police dv victims but her husband, Tacoma Washington's Police Chief David Brame Sr., fatally shot her - with their children only yards away - before also shooting and killing himself.

The living pick up the torch.
