Are Premenstrual Syndrome or other Hormonal Imbalances interfering with your attempts to live a peaceful, spiritual life? Depressed moods do interfere with our spirituality. It is hard for spiritually focused women to be pleasant or maintain spiritually healthy attitudes and behaviors when their hormones are going "HAYWIRE". I once called my Gyne doctor and asked her if I could make an appointment to have my hormone levels checked. After a long and rather confused pause she said, "Why would you want your hormone levels checked (as if I had no right to know what they were)?" I informed her that I wanted to know what they were so that I could monitor them as I worked towards healing myself of PMS. My doctor laughed at me and said, "Honey You Will Never Get Rid Of PMS--PMS Will Be With You For The Rest Of Your Life!" I am thankful that I refused to accept such a pessimistic reply.

Most doctors believe PMS is an ailment which cannot be cured. This group was designed for women who beg to differ. The purpose of this group is for women who feel PMS is intefering with their spiritual growth to come together to share their pains, successes, ideas, theories and philosophies regarding overcoming Premenstrual Syndrome.
