ordinary email newsletter

Garage Video brings together more than 20 short pieces by emerging artists
based in Winnipeg. Numerous objects and artworks from the artists' video
production sets are also part of the exhibition. Plug In has conducted brief
interviews with each participating artist, found on their web pages. The
answers and to a lesser degree, the questions, provide a sort of background
on the stories that they film. From almost nothing-without plans, without
money, without special effects-but with a lot of wit, they make videos that
are fun, poignant and scary. Each artist was interviewed while eating
breakfast.
