Thanks for the review Scott!
I'm hoping to see it sometime this week.
The reviews I saw were not very good, except harry at aintitcoolnews.com.
Everyone seems to point out how terrible the actor playing Doctor Doom is
though.
I saw it Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed it. I generally don't listen to what the critics say. Most, not all, have any idea of what they're talking about when it comes to comic based movies.
I saw the movie on Firday with my boyfriend and we both thought that
the movie was good I liked the stuff about Johnny> (I'm not saying
becasue I don't want to spoil it for everyone else but if you seen it
you'll know what I was talking about) but the only problem i had was
it was too short I heard that they're going to make a third movie and
maybe a Silver Surfer movie????? :)
I think it was to short as well. I do wonder though, in future Marvel Comic Movies is all the main characters going to dance? I HATE THAT!

just saw it and thought it was decent. i agree needed to be a 2 hr movie for sure. not nearly enough action or an explanation on how doom came back. the first one i think is way better. i wonder if this one did well enough to warrant a part 3? xmen and spidey all have 3 parts so my f4 will to just to keep up lol heck as long as jessica is in it i'll watch it!
I got the email from them, but I doubt if I'll be in costume for this convention, for I don't have the money to go at this given time.......now if they had a day for wearing the costume, to get in for free, then I'd think about it.

You got the email address for them? I don't know if I do or not. I just have the one for Pittscomicon, and that is over for the year.

Just received the Email in my default Email. It said about the costumes and stuff.....so I am going to ask the question on the free admittance day with a costume on for a day, so it can't hurt!!

I went to the last Steel City Con to meet Feedback from WWtbaS. Great
guy. Not really sure about going to the next one.
I wasn't really in costume per se at the last one, just kinda gothed
up I guess, and I had people take my pic and ask who I was supposed to
be. Ahdunno. It is only $7 to get in, but it is significantly smaller
than the Pitts Comic Con.
I've gone a couple times, and it might just be me, but it seems like
Vader and Fett and company don't show up until there's like an hour
left in the show.
...is that they won't have free admission with costume, but that's
because their admission's so low to begin with compared to other
shows. But if it's a big hit, perhaps in the future they'd knock a
couple bucks off, though? I'll be there regardless!
It was my favorite movie this summer. It's a little on the long side.
but it was worth it.
If you have not seen it go and see it tomorrow or this weekend
you love it.

i was going to see it this morning but figured it would be packed. was it crowed at all? i'll probly wait till next week when its been out for awhile.
i dont know anything about the story line, and dont, i want it to be a surprise to me but i'm not liking how the robots are done. can see to many wires and junk hanging out. i like the nice clean lines of the classic figures. i'm sure the animators would have to lol

just saw it today and over all i liked it. some things didnt make sense but its a movie ya know, no biggie. the one thing i didnt like was how the tf's didnt look like their G1 selves, there was very little of the traditional transforming sound, and some of the fight scenes that were close ups were to blurry. what is it with hollywood and fight scenes anymore? i know they want some realism with the fights but if i cant see how can i tell how bad ass the fight is?!
generally tho it was a pretty good movie, even the people who talked through the whole thing and smelled of garbage didnt ruin it for me bc i kinda got "into" the movie after awhile. i saw the first showing today and there was only like 20 people there. 8 of those were kids. i really hope this movie does well for a few reasons. one bc it was a good movie, way way better then F4 2, and if this one does better there may be a part 2. and two, if the tf's movie is a hit they are supposed to green light a live action gi joe movie. tho the scripts i have read on the net suck hard core, it would still be awesome to have a live action joe flick!

I thought it was a heck of a ride myself, even though the ending had
so much going on it was hard to keep track of. But they've already
green-lit the sequel, luckily. I'd say they did the franchise justice.
And I'm with you on the live-action Joe movie. I haven't heard much
good about the potential scripts, but Transformers had the same
troubles, and it turned out OK. So we'll see. I've been casting it
in my head; I think Bob Sapp would be a good Roadblock, and Ray Park
ought to be a lock for Snake-Eyes. But they'd probably have to go
with a lot of no-names to keep the budget from swelling!
Oh yeah, I'm working on a helmeted version of my Cobra Commander
outfit, too. The helmet's coming from a combination of an old Darth
Vader helmet and a mirrored face shield from a motorcycle helmet.
Early results are encouraging!

Please tell me no one is going to go see this craptacular.
I can deal with Robin Williams playing Popeye.
The Rocky and Bullwinkle movie would have been great with a better
story.
But this?
I don't care if they give the dvd's away for free, when they come out.
I will not see it.
And this from a guy who actually thought "Howard the duck" was
somewhat enjoyable.
Howard the Duck kicked ass! The Underdog movie I fear is going to go down quicker than a 3 dollar whore, it doesnt even look remotely entertaining.
