Dan,
As others have stated this is a stoved Va. Dark Star is very similar but better
aged. Rattray's Black Va is similar but not a flake.

Dan, that is a stoved Virginia, with the sugars almost converted to molassas.  Take a deep sniff and you can pick up that aroma.  It's a little hard to break...

Somebody once told me there was another tobacco very similar, which one it was I can't remember. Anyway I tried it and it was similar but I prefered the 2035....
