Carlos,
Another good idea is to contact a
local event center, like an Arena, concert hall...etc.
Our Chapter worked parking for them..at $7/hr, and
saw a bunch of free concerts! Maybe you could have
basketball or flag football tournements. Well...that's about
all the ideas I have...good luck!
Ryan
Carlos, fundraisers are always hard to come up
with but i'll tell you a few things that our chapter
does. The pledge classes usually have car washes,
raffle half gallons at parties, man credit card booths
on campus, make function t-shirts and sell them to
brothers, or have sororities bake cakes and cookies and
sell them........sorry if this doesn't help, but like
i said, fundraisers suck........good luck....in the
bonds.....HEATH PETTY
Hi! My name is Carlos Guzman I am pledge class
president at the Eta Upsilon Chapter. And if anybody has
any good ideas for fundraisers please let me know. We
have one this week where we are auctioning ourselves
to the Sorieties as slaves. Like i said if you have
any more good ideas let me know.
I'm also not a Pike. I'm a delta zeta and I just
wanted to say hello. If there is a problem with me
joining the club, just let me know and I'll never come
back. If not, I'm just here to observe and give you the
women point of view.

love
Julie
Hi, guys. I just wanted to introduce myself. My
name is Jaime and I'm a Delta Zeta in Michigan. I
joined your club because of pettyboy24, who is a friend
of mine. I hope no one minds. If you would rather
keep the club limited to brothers, just let me know!
My chapter has just finished their Informal IFC
rush week, and now time to start year round
recruitment. I was wounder if anybody had some ideas of events
that we could have that would not cost allot of money?
I think that we should set the time to be every
Tuesday at 7:30 c. If this is going to be a problem for
anyone let me know and suggest a time better for you. I
am open to discussion I just pulled this time out of
the air.
I would like for the member of this site to e-mail me or reply to this message
and lets work out a time that we could chat about the other chapters, and rush
this year.
My chapter has a truck as well. Currently I don't
have a picture scaned of it. They use to drive it
around but they cracked the block on it and could not
find something to replace it. Occasionaly we tow to
other fraternity events and we put on a trailer and
pull during the homecoming parade.
I usually check the page everyday. The problem is
that we need more members. I have not sent out an
invations, I had just thought that people looking through
Yahoo clubs would find the club and join. I have put
links in My personal homepage and my chapter home page.
I hoping when school get going again that We will
have more members and will have people chatting.
I am currently the an editor for open directory
project. I have listed all the chapters web pages that I
could find. If your chapter or alumni association has a
web page not listed let me know and I will list it.
http://dmoz.org is the link to the search
engine.
The Open
Directory Project is a search engine used by Netscape,
Lycos, HotBot, and main other search engines.

are kinda ghetto, but we have a lot of
fun. Please ignore the commentary, (you will know what
I mean if you check it out) Take it easy and have a
great summer.
Ryan Nu Class, 1998
I go to school at NC State (Alpha Epsilon) and
two weeks ago, a few of us decided to go to
Charlottesville to visit a brother that moved there. On Sunday,
we went to West Range to check out our roots. We did
the whole routine-pictures, posing, flipping off the
SAE that's scratched on the door, etc....Well, when
we were leaving, we walked around back and saw that
the blinds were up on the window. We got excited and
decided to try out our skills of entry. With just a few
tugs and shrugs, the window opened right up. For us,
this was a big deal, so all four of us jumped right
in. We hung out inside for about 10 minutes looking
in every crack and crevice for a "momento" to bring
back home. We never found anything so we settled for a
few more interrogating pictures and left. It was
weird being in the very place our founding fathers sat
and formed our fraternity for the establishment of
friendship on a firmer and more lasting basis..........
What's up guys. How is the new house and swimming
pool coming along? I am sure Biggie and Dax have
everything spotless. What's up Paul? What is your tel. #
now? 753-2814? Well, I'll see ya later. Peace Out.
