| Notes: | This is the 2009 leg of the Nova Scotia odyssey ("odd at sea"). This years trip will begin at Inverness and finish at Pleasant Bay. The trip will take place over 5 days with four days of paddling. A rough itinerary is as follows: Day 1: Travel day: travel to Inverness, shuttle cars to Pleasant bay, back to Inverness and set up camp. Day 2: Inverness to Chimney Corner 23km Day 3: Chimney Corner to Cheticamp beach 28 km Day 4: Cheticamp Beach to Fishing Cove: 28 km Day 5 Fishing cove to Pleasant Bay 8 km, travel back home. This is a trip for more experienced paddlers only. There will be long streatches of exposed coast with no landings. Departure date may be delayed until a safe weather window is available.
