Hello. How are you doing today? I am currently a senior attending SUNY Stony
Brook University. I am taking a year off before attending med school and
thinking of applying the next summer. In the year off, I was considering doing
the SMP program rather than working in a hospital. My cumulative gpa is a 3.08
and I have many research and volunteer experience. The only thing I am worried
about is if I do the SMP program of getting low grades and ruin my chances of
getting into med school totally. Any advice would be great. Thank you.
