PhotoForum is a communications link established by Prof. Andrew Davidhazy of the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences at RIT as a service for photo educators, professionals, and interested others, dedicated to discussion of photography and imaging including aesthetics, processes, applications, history, digital imaging, instructional strategies, criticism, equipment and techniques especially but not exclusively, as these apply in an educational setting or in professional practice. The list has a WWW site at http://www.davidhazy.org/andpph/photoforum.html

Commercial postings are not allowed but members may share brief and infrequent information about personal items available for sale.

The group has an active exhibit space or gallery that is updated with 6 to 12 new images usually weekly with member's photographs. Find this at http://people.rit.edu/andpph/gallery.html - comments about images are posted on the PhotoForum list itself.

Membership on Dec 01, 2003 was about 650 subscribers, in 2010 about 500
