Philly IA is a group for information architecture practitioners in the Philadelphia Area. It's not meant to replace any other local groups, but to bring together IA practitioners and others interested in the field.

Our long term plan is to promote IA in Philly, encourage more IA work in the area and bring together experienced and novice practitioners. We are starting our acvitities with monthly meetings focusing on information architecture, eating and drinking.

As we grow, we plan on having IA-oriented events, lectures, book clubs, field trips, case studies, movie screenings, games and anything else that is interesting, fun and informative that serves the group and the goal of promoting information architecture. Join us and share your ideas and expectations for the future of IA.
