The Proto-Freelance Modelers Special Interest Group (PFMSIG) discussion list is for all those model railroaders that like to model the WHAT IF. "Proto-Freelance" means a freelanced or made up model railroad based on the operations of a prototype or real railroad. An example of this is Tony Koester's Allegheny Midland.

All that I ask is that you bring a sense of humor.

I finally finished painting all of the backdrops on my layout. A job I wish I would have done a long time ago, it would have been a lot easier to do.

My version of the DM&IR. MAY 10, 2004 never occured. DM&IR still exists. The rate of their current fleet having bad mechanical failures, and getting sidelined
