The Peter Howell Neighborhood covers two quarter-square-mile areas north and south of Peter Howell Elementary School, in midtown Tucson, Arizona.
The Peter Howell Neighborhood Association was formed in May 1991 to serve the residents, property owners and business proprietors within the Speedway to Broadway, Alvernon to Columbus area.
The primary focus of the Association is to promote a good quality of life for its members and to address issues that affect the neighborhood and its well being.
The Association has an annual meeting in September of each year, periodic meetings when issues arise, and an annual picnic to promote fun times and knowing your neighbors.
The Association has a board of directors who are elected by the general membership at the annual meeting. The board elects officers from among their group and watches over neighborhood issues throughout the year.
The Peter Howell Neighborhood Association is registered with the City of Tucson's Department of Neighborhood Resources and appreciates its support.
