Welcome to the group Perfumemaking! The most active group about perfumery on the Internet.
Perfumemaking is a group for perfumers; for professional and beginning perfumers. It's a fun, open minded and friendly place where you can talk to people who share the same passion for perfumery.
This is not a group about natural perfumery only, it's a group about perfumery in general, perfumery with ALL its facets. Whether you use
synthetics, naturals or both, you will always have a home here; both to
freely ask for information and to offer your knowledge and opinons.
You will find all kinds of formulas and information in the files section, and there are lessons in perfume making(also in Powerpoint presentation)for the members who wants to learn perfumery. All your questions and input are welcome. And remember...don't be afraid to ask questions, there are no "stupid" questions.
My name is Jenny and I am your hostess. I life in the Netherlands. I started making perfumes in 1999 I learned perfumery by reading books about perfumes and essential oils. I started to order a lot of essential oils and started to blend, it became an addiction, it was a way to expand my creativity. I read about the aroma components of essential oils and was fascinated by it, I wanted to find these chemicals. When I did find them, I started to learn the real facets of perfumery. I started this group because I couldn't find anyone in the Netherlands with the same hobby.
