This is news to me. Although white gold is not truly white, but a silver color, when I was a working jeweler with my own store/shop, I would regularly cast white gold and it never came out a tinted brown, and I never had to plate it with rhodium or anything else. I would just polish it like the yellow gold. Of course, things could have changed since then...

White gold is a mix of gold and nickel but here is an interesting line from Wikipedia...

There are Rose Gold pen kits available, but no White Gold kits , however there certainly are plenty of beautiful, durable rhodium- plated kits around! - And that is what a white gold pen would look like anyway.
