Joyce C. Wingo, 53, of Signal Mountain, passed away Sunday, June 15,
2008, from injuries she received in an automobile accident.
Joyce was born on Aug. 5, 1954, in Fort Oglethorpe. She was a
graduate of Erlanger School of Nursing in 1977 and was employed with
the Dialysis Clinic Inc. She attended Signal Mountain Bible Church.
Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Claude Walston.
She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Ken Wingo;
son, Jonathan Wingo; mother, Emily Walston; three sisters, Cindy
Barnes, Janet Freeman and Trenia Clark; brother, Bobby Walston; and
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral
home chapel with Dr. Gary Phillips and Pastor Steve Granger
officiating.
Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from
noon until 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
