I have to make it clear that this group is for PeaceMakers. It does not promote nor tolerate any inward looking or self-righteous, smug religious viewpoints that make excuses for death and destruction. Anyone attempting to argue for or promote such religious views, will be liable to be removed or banned.

Jesus didn't say "blessed are the warmongers" he said the very opposite, namely, "Blessed are the peacemakers" - therefore we challenge the view that peace can be brought about by physical war and violence.

Many pray for God's will to be done, "on earth as in heaven" and the promise is that we will be blessed if we are working for peace as peacemakers in harmony with the Creator, the God of the universe. This means doing, not just praying or saying but we cannot resort to the use of violent warfare to bring peace.
