A group for gardeners in the Portland Metro and surrounding areas that want to swap plants or seeds. All plants and seeds must be free or trade only. No selling please! You may also list gardening supplies including, but not limited to, shovels, rakes, mulch, landscape rocks, dirt,birdhouses and feeders etc... Houseplant items are also welcome.

We also welcome contractors who need to excavate building sites. Post the location and someone may want to come dig up the plants or trees, thus saving them from your backhoe. :)

Anyone from Forest Grove to Gresham and from Vancouver down to West Linn or Lake Oswego is welcome to join. If you're farther away than that, you're welcome to join, but I can't guarantee that anyone will drive that far. :)

Any gardening tips or advice are also welcome.

If someone posts an item for sale, that post will be removed and the poster will be warned. After two warnings, if you do it again, you'll be removed from the group. I don't mean to sound harsh, but this group is for thrifty gardeners.

Please don't post your phone number or address to the group.Contact each other via email first, then exchange phone numbers or addresses as needed.
