Examples of past events: pub raids, Ren Faires, SCA Pirate events, parties, movies, tall ship sails. Some events are family friendly, others less so.

Is this a Club?
No, this just be a gathering o' the local brethren (that be you) into a fleet for plottin' and group plunderin' purposes.
Ye will not be pressed into service, and if you already have a ship and a crew ye not be asked to mutiny.

Add Garbed Pirate Events to the Calendar
Add yar piratey parties to the calendar and invite the brethren to join ye. Events posted without your "yahoo profile" name, PLUS contact info (two of the following: website and/or e-mail address, or phone number) will be deleted.

Is My Garb Okay?
It is yar black heart that matters, mate. In "GARB", means we attend events wearing clothing that celebrates The Golden Age of Piracy 1650-1730. Think movie pirates, and ye won't be spittin' windward. It is understood that putting together a kit (and persona) takes time and resources, your "Goodwill Garb" is acceptable, no Stich Fanatics here.

What Constitutes a "Raid"?
"PDX Pirate Raid" auto e-mail reminder will be sent only if garbed pirates are expected at an event (as most will be). Other more casual events will appear on the calendar without reminders sent.

How Much E-mail Will I Get?
