This is a group for people conceived by donor insemination. We get together here to share our ideas, frustrations, and hopes. We restrict our group to donor-conceived people. When you are accepted, we will post your intro to our members, first names only, if you wish. Our moderators are Bill Cordray, John Avitabile, and Shelley Kreutz. When you send us the data above, we can invite you to join the group. We screen applicants to ensure they are adults conceived through DI. We will not accept applications without the above data. You may then review message archives, photos, and writings to learn about our members, as well as post on the board.

We cannot approve people who are not conceived through DI. We want our members to feel comfortable expressing strong opinions and feelings that may be unacceptable to their parents, friends, or the general public. Often DI children/adults feel isolated without access to others who have lived their experiences. We often have difficulty sharing our concerns with others who question our narratives and what DI means to us. We want to maintain an atmosphere of trust on this board, without having to moderate our opinions for fear of offending others’ feelings.

If you are a DI parent or someone interested in learning about DI from our points of view, please keep in mind that many of our members are active in the media and at other web sites that discuss donor insemination. We are not hiding our opinions from the outside. This site, however, is a haven for those who do not care to defend their feelings, attitudes or opinions.
