The PCUSA Colombia Network seeks
—to pray for Colombia's peace and human rights advocats,
—to educate the church regarding the crisis in Colombia,
—to advocate for peace and justice for Colombia in the church, congress and the administration to end the militarization of the conflict,
—and to work for peaceful resolution of the conflict in Colombia by standing with church leaders doing human rights and relief work in Colombia.
Formed in 2005, at the direction of the General Assembly, the Colombia Network has adopted as its stated mission to support the GA policies and PC(USA)'s partners in Colombia.
Membership is open to those who explicitly support the policies adopted by the General Assembly and who endorse those mission objectives of the Network. The "Active" Group is comprised of those who have attended at least one of our network meetings, been trained as accompaniers, and/or a General Assembly meeting.
