This is the group page of the Peace and Justice Team of the Presbyterian Church in Chinatown. The Book of Order states that "there is no peace without justice. Wherever there is brokeness, violence, and injustice, the people of God are called to peacemaking." This is a team comprised of persons who have a strong conviction that their faith compels them to advocate and speak out on issues of peace and justice in society. The P&J Team will study and discuss social issues through the eyes of faith; plan actions; do educational presentations; write articles and position papers on church and society. The P&J Team will be connected to the Presbyterian Peacemaking program.
