This group is formed to share knowledge between people involved with all forms of international volunteer work: those who have done it before (Peace Corps, VSO, CUSO, etc.), those who are considering it, and those who have encountered it abroad. Mostly, the forum is group discussion and story telling. We intend to keep it light, but it does not always have to be that way. We have no intention whatsoever of toeing any organization's "line" on how to present that organization and what it does. While our accounts might be too personal and anecdotal, we figure our readers have the ability to sort it out. In order to prevent posting of commercial sites or spam, the list is "moderated". Discussion of what happens in the course of one's work, even relationships, is welcomed and will not be filtered out.
