This online group is for anyone wanting to ask for information on Peterborough UK or to advertise community groups, charitable events, boot sales, or just wanting to chat and make friends locally.

It has been started as an offshoot of Peterborough Freegle [ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/peterborough-freegle/ ], because on peterborough-freegle you are restricted to posting offered and wanted items for recycling. There is however an additional need for somewhere people can post on a wider range of topics.

On this site new members are moderated which means there may be a delay initially in anything you post. You can ask to be de-moderated as soon as you have posted a few times. This is just to ensure people don't join to post spam etc.

While we wish to allow open discussion we will not tolerate flaming, rude or inconsiderate posts or people trying to pick arguments. People are expected to accept responsibility to contribute positively to the discussion.

Any complaints about members of this group or peterborough-freegle should be raised privately with the moderators please.

To join PBUK you MUST be a member of Peterborough-freegle. When you apply for membership please mention the area of the city your in, failure to do this will mean automatic rejection and you will need to apply again.
