Friends,
Each year the Altadena Chamber of Commerce recognizes and grants a few
graduating seniors from PUSD with a scholarship.

What is different about this scholarship is that it isn't entirely based on
GPA (although there are minimum thresholds that that Board requires when
selecting students) and instead is intended to help those students "who
might not normally qualify for a merit scholarship."

This year the Chamber is recognizing Kyoko Harris and Jordan Mitchell of
Blair High School and will hold a ceremony in their honor.

Anyone who is interested in supporting and/or recognizing these students are
invited and welcome to attend the ceremony at the Altadena Community Center.


Our scholarships are not grandiose, but they are heartfelt and hope that
perhaps its enough to help the students continue on their journey of
realizing their dreams.
