Description

The constructive alternative for PUSD policy discussion and debate. Visit our main web site at http://pasadenaschools.info

Our group is open to anyone interested in constructive discussion about PUSD, but this list is not an exercise in pushing the limits of free speech. Moderators have absolute discretion, and anyone we feel is not contributing constructively will not be welcome.

For anyone who feels that we are overly restrictive with regard to language and tone, you might consider PUSDgreatschools. They have been around for a long time, and have an extensive Yahoo! Group archive filled with opinions and facts. They now operate as a Google group.

If you are interested in a low volume news sources with a positive perspective on PUSD, you might also consider joining our other sister Yahoo! Group, pasadenaednetworknews. They describe their group as "the news and announcement loop for the Pasadena Education Network." You will not find discussion there, but there is bountiful information of interest to anyone with children of school age considering the practical issues surrounding school selection and Open Enrollment. Please also visit the main PEN website at http://www.penfamilies.org

Lisa, I wasn't guilt tripping you for moving to private school. I was pointing out that the problems facing PUSD are mostly problems of money, not bad
