ParliamoSF is a listserve of San Francisco Bay Area folks interested in celebrating the Italian language and culture. We used to meet up once each month to practice Italian. Now, however, this list is just used to inform each other about Italian announcements and events going on in or near SF.

After a recent surge in email posts to the group, we've decided to clarify what this group is all about and create some posting guidelines. Here are those details:

Purposes of this yahoo group include:
-to facilitate opportunities to meet-up to speak in Italian.
-to learn about other Italian language/cultural opportunities nearby
-to meet other people with which to practice Italian and go to Italian related events

Posting Guidelines:
-It is absolutely fine to post to the group to announce activities,
to locate a conversing/writing buddy, to follow-up with what we
discussed at the group, or most anything else. However, when the posts turn personal, please refrain from replying to the group.
-If you don't want to get every email as they arrive, please select the daily digest option when you join the group.
-Any spammers will be removed from the group list by the moderator.
