This group is for anyone interested in researching the family name of Caird. Most originated in Scotland especially the North East around St. Vigeans, now part of Arbroath, Angus, and the county of Kincardineshire, which is where my own Cairds originated.

The purpose is for members to help each other through sharing and comparing notes on their various families. Or perhaps just giving some friendly advice.

Personally I have amassed a considerable amount of data on Caird (not all of it related to my own family line) which I have shared with many people over the years.
